Meet the founders of BioCompass Kids, Drs. Natalia and Aarron Phensy dos Santos! Together, we are building a world where every child feels empowered to lead their own scientific exploration - shaping the future through curiosity and imagination.

We are neuroscientists designing science programs for future little scientists. We believe meaningful learning is born from curiosity, play, and investigation.
If you are a parent, educator, or just interested in our programs and products - please reach out! We will get back to you as soon as possible!
The Traveling Lab
Format: 2-hour community or school event
Ideal for: Schools, community centers, and outreach fairsThe Traveling Lab brings our mobile science experience straight to students — especially those who don’t often get the chance to explore science up close. Each visit blends interactive games, hands-on experiments, and stories from real neuroscience and biology research to make science feel exciting, approachable, and real. These events are always free for students, made possible through the support of local schools, community partners, and sponsors who share our goal of bringing high-quality science experiences to every child.
We prioritize underserved communities, including schools in low-income or rural areas.

After-shcool progams
Format: 1-2 hour sessions over 6–12 weeks
Ideal for: Elementary and middle schools seeking ongoing enrichment
Our semester-long Expeditions combine the best of Missions and Technicals into a sustained learning journey. Students form teams, complete weekly challenges, and finish with a capstone presentation that demonstrates what they’ve learned.
• Reinforces STEM learning through repetition and teamwork
• Builds project-based learning skills
• Fosters confidence and communication through student-led presentations
Let’s design an after-school science program that fits your school’s schedule.
Missions and Technicals Workshops
Format: Half-Day or Full-Day On-Site Adventures
Ideal for: Classrooms, homeschool groups, and enrichment programs
Our Missions and Technicals workshops offer immersive, hands-on science workshops designed to teach through doing. We bring all the materials and equipment you need, turning any classroom or gym into a working lab for the day.
Missions: Explore Science Like Never Before
Each Mission focuses on a fascinating real-world topic, from brain circuits to genetic engineering and breaks it down through experiments, games, and storytelling.
Students earn a Mission Badge upon completion!
Technicals: Be the Scientist. Make the Discovery.
Students use genuine lab techniques like pipetting, microscopy, circuit building, and more, to solve guided scientific puzzles and think like real researchers.
Students earn an Investigation Badge recognizing their new skill.
